Flight 232 In the News
In 2016 the House Theatre of Chicago presented a play based on Flight 232, adapted and directed by Vanessa Stalling. It won the Joseph Jefferson award for "Best Production of a Play (midsize)" and sold out every performance. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune remarked that "the very great artistic worth of this piece, beautifully toned and staged by Stalling, lies in its ability to make you think about what really matters in your life." United Flight 232 returned to the stage at the Chopin Theater in Chicago for a second time in 2017, again to sell-out crowds. The play is now slated to appear at the Carson Theater in Boulder, Colorado February 28 to March 9, 2019, and at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami May 4th to May 19th 2019.
